About Us

Founded in 1932 by Dr. Emil Furrer, Pathology Consultants is one of the first medical groups formed in Oregon. We own and operate the largest and most comprehensive anatomic pathology services laboratory in the region.

Over the last eight decades, our group has participated in the start-up and growth of many health care improvements by working with hospitals, physicians and community health initiatives throughout the region. We also support local physician research in a variety of basic science and translational areas.
